This series contains the audiotapes of committee meetings of the Constitutional Revision Commission from 1977 to 1978. The various committees considered specific issues for the proposed revised Constitution. There is a typed index for the Style and Drafting Committee for February 14 through 16, 1978 in Series 265, Box 17.

The 1968 Constitution contains a continuous revision clause providing for the revision of the Constitution within the first ten years after approval, and a revision every twenty years thereafter (Article XI, Section 2). The Constitution specifies a thirty-seven member commission be selected to prepare revisions.
